…I may actually convince the anxiously spinning top constituting 85% of my brain to regain some measure of sensibility, i.e. stop refusing to write fic anywhere besides Tumblr drafts or Discord messages. Neither of which actually has an auto-save function, with a bonus very very short character limit on the latter just to spice things up, but alas. The meatsack does what it wants.

On the other hand, all that rattling around did actually give me a long(ish) idea to work with for once, which is nice for a change! And I got enough of it drafted on the train to and back from work that I'm actually hopeful on the odds of finishing it maybe this weekend. Once I paper enough of this over for a semi-hanging-together-plot, at least…

ETA: Hilariously I may have accidentally thought of a brilliant solution to this – i.e. changing Atom's colours to match Discord's. It's definitely a fresh feel, let's see how well it works…
