I think seeing the amount of nitpicking befalling any translation or fan-translation, coming from people who proudly admit they've done two semesters of Japanese, has put me off finding translation fun unless I'm just doing a quick translation of a Twitter doujinshi or something for friends in private, sadly. I still have a bunch of translation theory/practice books on my shelves I mean to return to at some point, though :D Even if you don't have the resources for that kind of project lately, that's still such a huge achievement! I can't imagine how much you learnt from that project. (Well, a little bit, from this post 😂)
