Very informative!! When I started learning Japanese, I was really excited about the times when I'd be able to share my knowledge with other fans, but at some point I just became comfortable reading for myself, and the amount of translation discourse on Tumblr made me kind of sick and I had zero willingness to step into that. Some people could use a little bit more humility, but that doesn't get as many notes. Lots of admiration for the ton of work you're doing to make the good stuff accessible to more people, this is amazing :) And thanks for all the food for thought.
